Through the prism of the universal, for a man of these activities become the sun, the food and the cure for the soul. Through Nature and all her glints, I could always learn that the colours have more or less red, yellow, and blue and how colours in the pictures can be dark or bright. The nature of change and gradualism in the garden has spoken to me about the course and the layers of work in painting, adopting the idea that tomorrow's flowers come from the seeds of today.
The artwork is painted in the oil on canvas on a wooden board. In the manner of an impressionist landscape, full of colours and fine strokes that complete the composition of the painting.

Danko Merin rođen je 1962. godine u Sarajevu. Diplomirao je na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Sarajevu (Bosna i Hercegovina). Član je HDLU-a i Hrvatskog društva umjetnika Zagreba.

Bavi se slikarstvom, grafikom, poučavanjem, ilustracijom, digitalnim dizajnom i likovnim keramikom. Živi i radi u Križevčecu, blizu Zagreba (CRO). Od 2017. do 2019. kustos Galerije „Kraluš“ gdje su organizirali mnoge zapažene izložbe. Umjetnička djela Danka Merine nalaze se u privatnim kolekcijama u Europi i drugim dijelovima svijeta.
