Daniel LAVABRE est né le 27 janvier 1948 à Rivière sur Tarn dans l'Aveyron.
C'est à Paris, ou il séjourne de 1966 à 1975, qu'il découvre sa vocation pour les arts plastiques, mais c'est à Nice où il s'installe en 1975, qu'il développe véritablement son art,en autodidacte, en se spécialisant dans les Natures Mortes Réaliste.
Ses oeuvres représentant des objets de la vie quotidienne, révèlent sa parfaite maîtrise de la composition et sa grande habileté à traduire les jeux de lumière.
Sa notoriété, nationale et internationale lui ont permis de faire figurer ses oeuvres dans des collections privées dans le monde entier.
Daniel LAVABRE est membre de l'association des ART ET LETTRES DE FRANCE et de L'ACADEMIE EUROPEENNE DES ARTS GRAPHIQUES.
Parmis les nombreux 1° Prix qui lui ont été décernés on peut notamment compter :

-1° Prix Art et Lettres de France à St Jean Cap Ferrat,
-1° Prix Nature Morte au 8° Salon d'Automne d'Art à Nice,

La maitrise et la finesse de son coup de pinceau lui ont valu une renommée d'Artiste-Peintre Réaliste internationnale.
En effet, il figure dans différentes collections privées en France, Espagne, Grande-Bretagne, USA, Allemagne, Suisse, Principauté de Monaco, Hollande, Autriche, Arabie Saoudite, Norvège.
