Petalo di Rosa e Cuore Printmaking by Daniela Di Costanzo

Daniela Di Costanzo was born in Naples on March 4, 1986. She attended the Art School of Naples, where she participated as the protagonist in a short film "La forza della traccia" for the famous Neapolitan painter Gianni Lizio, she graduated in Visual Languages.

At a very young age she moved to Rome to attend the Sculpture course at the Academy of Fine Arts.
In the early academic years she participated in the artistic events "Legami un segno nel parco" and "20Eventi" where he proposes the project and creates together with his sculpture group with the Sculptor Oriana Impei a travertine sculpture-game for the gardens of the Abbey of Farfa.
He participates in a Group Exhibition in Testaccio at the studio of the Sculptor Domenico Annicchiarico with the sculpture "Corpetti".
In 2010 he participates as the protagonist in an artistic short film made by his colleague sculptor and friend Irene Andreotti.
In 2011 he obtains the Academic Diploma in Sculpture with top marks.

He settles in Bolzano where he teaches and leads artistic workshops through the Manu Cooperative. He works in many schools in the province and the surrounding area, creating works of redevelopment of the walls of the institutes with the children.

He works not only with the children of the schools, but also with the inmates of the Bolzano prison and the elderly of the nursing homes, bringing art as a means of communication to break down walls, create balance together and break down distances.

From 2011 to 2015 he painted and collaborated for the Gallery "Orcia Paint Gallery" in San Quirico D'Orcia.
In 2015 she participated in the Bolzanino 11.11.11.11.EspaceYoung competition.
In 2016 she participated in the Bolzanino Art'èDonna / kunst ist Frau project which allowed her to organize her first solo exhibition in the Foyer of the Municipality of Bolzano.

In 2022 she created the children's book "Aiutando Madre Natura" by Francesca Di Costanzo, published by Edizioni Manna.

In 2022 she created the cover of the book "Amarcord e Nun'm arricord" "Il Clarinetto del Visconte" and "Il Barbiere di Ciniglia" by Guido Postiglione, Etabeta publishing house.

In 2023 she created the illustration of the children's book "Il Vecchio Ciondolo" for the Asr studio.

In 2023, having returned to Naples, she took part in the collective exhibition "Leggende Napoletane... e altri racconti" organized by the Monteoliveto Gallery in Naples with the mixed media painting on canvas "Provvidenza, buona speranza"
In her pictorial and sculptural works, a curiosity and a continuous search for Nature and the human being shine through,
the techniques she uses for painting are mixed techniques and materials, her sculptures are made with recycled materials
