Christine Guichard

Christine Guichard creates works on paper, playing with the luminous whites of paper and the velvety blacks of ink. Her recent work adds gold to her combinations of black shapes on white paper.

In particular, she has created works in which the paper is embossed, becoming itself a relief, hollows and peaks; some peaks can shine adorned with gold.
