Christian Choquet is a contemporary French artist. He primarily pursues one interest through painting and sculpture: the development of new things and forms in an ongoing quest for harmony and beauty. When he sculpts a woman, he has only one goal in mind: to capture her in all the beauty and sensuality that she exudes to the touch as well as the eye. For him, the woman is the very symbol of these two qualities. He is also captivated by the process of making busts of people (men, women, and children), especially when it comes to capturing facial expressions that capture the subject's personality.
Christian Choquet was born in 1948, in France, where he graduated from the National School of Fine Arts of Bourges.
