Cerdà

Born in 1954. At the age of eighteen , she began travelling around Europe and dedicated herself to the study of languages and art.
After living in England for some time, she settled in Spain. In 1974, she studied classical drawing at the Pico studio in Alicante, before enrolling at the school of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona where she had been living for four years. From there she moved to Germany staying there for a year before finally deciding to return to Paris. It was here that she attended both Ste-Isaure course specialising in etching and engraving, and the « Ecole du Louvre » studying the painting of the 19th century. This was followed by several years in the Louvre and Orsay museums where she worked on authorized copies of the old masters.
In 1982 she married a Japanese artist, after her two children were born, she started to exhibit her work.

Since 1997, she has been working with the children of Evry elementary school, creating murals and teaches the traditional technics of oil paintings near Paris.
In September 2008 she becomes watercolour teacher in Evry school of Arts.
