Cathy

Born in 1963, Cathy lives and works in France where she devotes herself passionately to drawing and painting. Using mainly pastel on paper and graphite on paper, she excels in the art of figurative portraiture. Her most famous series, “Color Mama,” is a vibrant and moving tribute to older women. In this series, she captures the essence and wisdom of her models using soft pastels on half-tone Canson paper.

From a young age, Cathy has been attracted to the human face, finding in features and expressions an infinite source of inspiration and beauty.
