My work is all about assemblage and art-cumulation
Pieces of wood, melted plastic, strings of nothing, chunks of mystery, bites of dreams,…
I play with all kinds of material, but only the ones provided by the ocean : braught by the waves, salted to the bones, half burried in the sand
I collect and accumulate bits, parts, patches and pieces and use everything as is; nothing added : no painting, no cutting, no adding… pieces are used as raw as i find them on the beach.

In my studio my eyes and my hands fly around, pick and catch and play with whatever they feel attracted by… and the magic of unexpected pieces happen.

Without words, I believe they speak loudly about our relationship with things, consumption and environment. They are meant to trigger our consciousness with questions about decadence, waste and loss of meaning, apparent ugliness and hidden beauty, matter of the spirit and spirit of the matter.
