Caroline Lopez, born in 1965, is an interior designer with a passion for Paris, its architecture and iconic rooftops. Trained at the Camondo school in Paris, she developed a deep love for the French capital and its architectural charms. She also perfected her engraving and drawing skills at the Ateliers des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris.
Drawing on her expertise in interior architecture, Caroline transposes her attentive, precise eye for Parisian rooftops into her drawings. She re-exploits her sketches, breaking them down, assembling and refining them to offer her viewers her unique vision of a square, a neighborhood or a place. Her aim is to inspire her audience to take a fresh look at Paris, imbued with poetry and a fascination for these often overlooked details.
At the same time, Caroline has been exploring the cliffs of the Côte d'Albâtre for over 50 years. She captures the striking beauty of these seascapes in watercolor, then transposes them onto large canvases. Her art thus expresses her deep connection with nature and her desire to share the emotion of her discoveries with the world.
Since 2014, Caroline has regularly exhibited her creations at fairs, solo and group shows in art galleries. Her work attracts attention and admiration, testifying to her undeniable talent and ability to capture the magic of the places that inspire her.
