Persona 2 - Inspired by Ingmar Bergman Painting by Carlo Tarani

I was born in Florence and obtained the diploma of Maestro d'Arte in the same city. After receiving a scholarship, I moved to Berlin for two years to work alongside the sculptors Martin Matschinsky and Brigitte Denninghoff.
In the following three years, still in Berlin, I work painting for the collections of Dr.Bernd Noack and Dr.Tony Kobler.
Moved back to Italy in the lands of the Casentino in Tuscany, obtaining a Diploma of restorer, for ten years I worked as a decorator and restorer.
Since 2009 I have been teaching painting and anatomy at the European Academy in Florence and since 2014 I have opened an art studio in via di Camaldoli 9r in Florence to the public.
From the beginning, the essential and dominant element of my pictorial research has always focused on the human being, through his many Masks, I investigate the multitude of his actions, immortalizing them, I use painting as a viaticum tool and bodies or of faces, like landscapes to explore.
The dialectical form in which I represent my images is a union between two different techniques: "painting (almost always composed of acrylic enamels), photography and where the theme requires it, even sculptural forms, which by merging together create dreamy visions".
