A melting pot of cultures flows in the blood of Carlos Atoche, an artist born in 1984, born to an Argentine mother and a Peruvian father. His approach to art dates back to his childhood. From an early age he remained for a long time to observe his father's activity as a sculptor, specialized in the production of wooden masks.

When he reached adulthood he headed overseas and here his artistic vision met the beauties of the old continent. He was immediately impressed by the pictorial and architectural wonders of Italy, so much so that he moved to Rome shortly after, the city where he obtained a diploma in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts.

It was in the capital that the desire to express his creativity grew dramatically. artistic talent, the reminiscences linked to drawing and sculpture help him to define and circumscribe the elements in the two-dimensional space of painting more clearly. During the years of attending the academy he began to become passionate about street art, a movement that was still not very trendy, and his creative streak transferred to the walls and here he would find fertile surfaces on which to express himself.

Painting in the street changes completely his perception, the connection that is established between art and the place in which it is created is indissoluble as is the relationship between artist and passers-by.

His palette brings together a hodgepodge of cultures and experiences that allows you to create true open air masterpieces. His intimate research translates into daily thoughts and questions disguised as figurative elements. Like a shaman who connects the physical world to the metaphysical one, the artist tries to establish a profound connection between his desire to communicate and the recipients of his message, in the hope of succeeding in the difficult mission of "humanizing" individuals more, awakening consciences and making everyone more aware of their own creative essence.

Fascinated by Street Art, he has dedicated the last five years to the creation of murals in the cities of Rome, Berlin and Lima, establishing himself on the international Street Art scene.
