Carla Vaccaro, street muralist, illustrator, printmaker, navigator. She swims solitary on the unfathomable abyss of the Atacama Trench, tracing the edge between the continental lithosphere of the South American plate and the oceanic lithosphere of the Nazca plate, her body floats on 8000 meters of water and fish and algae and fathomless, unknown mysteries, with the laughter of all the pirates and death.
She knows Chile, her works proceed on the earth's crust of America, their laughter is fierce, their tears and their women are ferocious and sweet, made of vanilla, of cocoa.
Her engravings use Gold, they smell of life.
Her characters have many arms, they need many eyes, such is the urgency of the continental task.
