Very Beautiful Amazing Landscape (2021) Painting by Maria Buduchikh

The series of "picture labels" is dedicated to the struggle of Maria of the Future against the hypocrisy of the modern art market. In a world where the buyer is not interested in the painting itself, but in the image of the artist, or art object, Maria suggests buying an "image on canvas" instead of the painting itself.

The first two paintings of the series - "Classic Landscape" and "Very Beautiful Amazing Landcspe" - seem to be drawn from a package of butter from the 50s. They even have an indication of (not)the exact weight and guarantee that the owner of these masterpieces will have proof of their own "reasonableness" in the form of an art object.
Above the call to take "a very beautiful landscape" with you, a message is printed in small letters that "the landscape could be here".
