Ma mère m'a reproché jusqu'à l'orée de mon adolescence la manie qu'elle disait fâcheuse de laisser trainer mes petites culottes.Pour m'en guérir elle choisit l'occasion d'un goûter où je recevais des amies pour épingler mes dessous sur les murs de ma chambre. J'en fus sur le coup profondément mortifiée et ce geste nourrit longtemps une intense inimitié contre elle.
il est aussi, sans doute à l'origine des choix artistiques qui ont guidé mon expression.
Le mérite que je retire des options que j'ai retenues est qu'elles ne m'obligent pas à emprunter les chemins de la facilité.
Résolument figurative dans un contexte de béatitude cubiste, abstraite et minimaliste;
mise au ban des expositions pour l'impudeur de mes représentations: provoc et fétichistes.
Peintures et compositions textiles sur thèmes tirés de la Renaissance. Style hyperréaliste parfois (rien qu'un peu de sable dans les cheveux).
Mais ne vous y trompez pas, au travers des images "très catholiques", empruntées à la période de référence, ce sont les intégrismes, les intolérances, l'inquisition, tous les fanatismes sociaux et religieux que j'ai choisi d'attaquer.
Attention les mecs... ALLAH est GRANDE !
