The Alps, the Vercors Mountains.
This landscape is painted “alla prima”, with lively and spontaneous brushstrokes to attempt to capture the momentary effects of sunlight, the movement and the atmosphere.
The white finish of the sides of the canvas allows you to hang it without a frame if you wish.
Materials used:
This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.

Anne Baudequin lives and works in Auvergne in the centre of France. From her studio overlooking the mountains, she paints the majestic, volcano-sculpted landscape every day.
Each landscape is painted "alla prima" in a single session. This enables her to really grasp the atmosphere, and the fleeting, passing effects of the sunlight. She paints quickly with energetic, spontaneous strokes that give her paintings a sensation of movement.
Anne Baudequin likes to travel, which is an opportunity to take on new landscapes, new lights and colours.
Through the moments that she captures, Anne Baudequin hopes to transmit the unchanging and timeless nature of these landscapes. Despite being a landscape artist, she frequently returns to the intimacy of still life. The peaceful nature of the relationship it creates with the subject feeds her concentration. She paints still lifes with natural lighting that glorifies the simplest objects, projecting subtle shadows in which she finds a multitude of colours.
Her work is currently held in many private collections across the globe.
