It is therefore obvious that here I associate the image of Chrysomallos, the sacrificed ram of the Greek mythology of the Golden Fleece and Christ himself.
For this small picture I wanted a framing re-emphasized to intensify the dramatic effect.

The artist is inspired by a variety of cultures, times, and influences, having Russian and Spanish roots as well as a strong French identity. He does figurative paintings with a balance of elegance and discomfort, masculine and feminine, light and dark.
Alexandre Barberà-Ivanoff was born in 1973, in France. His main work was exposed in the European Parliament of Strasbourg, in 2010. In Italy he participated with 4 other European painters in the elaboration of the 25 paintings which are permanently exhibited in the center city of Cosenza.
