Azer Aliyev is a contemporary Azerbaijani artist. His artistic journey began at the Art School named after Azim Azimzadeh, where he honed his skills from 1984 to 1988. Subsequently, he pursued higher education at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts named after A. Huseynzadeh, graduating in 1997.

Azer Aliyev's quest for artistic excellence led him to St. Petersburg, where he engaged in creative dialogue with renowned specialists between 1988 and 1991. During this period, he received master classes in painting from the esteemed People's Artist of the USSR Y.Y. Moiseyenko at the Art Academy named after I. Y. Repin. Additionally, he delved into design through master classes at the Higher Academy of Art and Industry named after Baron Styglis.

In 1992, Azer Aliyev ventured into the world of documentary films, working as a developer-artist in the studio of Azerbaijan Television. From 1993 onward, he actively participated in international, All-Union, and republican exhibitions, gaining recognition in countries such as Germany, Turkey, France, Italy, and Russia.

A member of the Union of Azerbaijan Artists and the Union of Azerbaijan Designers, Azer Aliyev has also played a role as an organizer in the art world. Notably, he curated a remarkable collection of works by the renowned clothing artist and fashion designer Paco Raban, exhibited at the "Gulustan" palace in Baku.

Internationally acclaimed, Azer Aliyev's works represented Azerbaijan at the "Art Shopping" exhibition held at the Louvre museum in 2018, as well as at exhibitions in Canada and Milan. Beyond his accomplishments as a painter, he is recognized as a designer with a distinctive signature. With over 300 interior design projects to his name, he has contributed significantly to the corporate design of well-known companies.

Azer Aliyev's influence extends to education as the founder of the "Bakudesigncenter" educational center, specializing in training professional designers. In the realm of literature, he authored notable works such as "Influence of National and Historical Traditions on Clothing Culture" in 2017 and textbooks on the clothing of Turkish people in subsequent years.

His paintings and graphic works, spanning various genres, adorn prestigious museums and private collections. Articles about his creativity have been featured in publications such as "The Fate of the Artist" by Z. Aliyev, "Madaniyat" and "Kaspi" newspapers, and the "Chapar" magazine. Azer Aliyev's artistic legacy continues to thrive, leaving an enduring impact on the cultural landscape of Azerbaijan and beyond.
