Jiel is a contemporary French artist. He may give the impression of being a conventional painter without extravagance, often compared to art that evokes childhood and false naivety. However, one should not be mistaken, as it is from the depths of his childlike soul that he draws his energy, which serves as an essential source for his creative universe. He endeavors to translate his emotions and feelings into his art and is not afraid to transform or distort reality to make it uniquely his own. His paintings are never mere faithful or flawless reproductions of reality; instead, he places a strong emphasis on the interplay of colors and contrasts. He derives mischievous pleasure from merging the warm and the cold, resulting in a captivating artistic expression.
