Atb Art, a photographer born in the 80s, has been immersed since childhood in a groovy and colorful universe, punctuated by his parents' funk and disco vinyls. His creativity first finds expression through music, which he explores by playing the guitar, the piano and by engaging in computer-assisted music (MAO).
In 2014, Atb Art made a discovery that would mark a turning point in his artistic life: lightpainting. Quickly fascinated by this technique, he became addicted to the art of mixing street art, digital art, dance and photography. For him, lightpainting becomes a way of translating into images the emotions and music that guide him.
In 2018, Atb Art moved to La Traversée des Arts, in Monteux, where he devoted himself for two years to perfecting his art of portraiture in lightpainting thanks to his dedicated studio.
Inspired by surrealism, geometric abstraction, calligraphy and science fiction, Atb Art's works transport us into a fictional and poetic world. He creates these universes from very real settings and objects, but transforms them masterfully through his technique.
Using long exposure and light painting, Atb Art constructs the image from A to Z on site, sometimes repeating it several times to achieve the desired result. Its work mainly lies in the management of light, the movements of the camera during shooting, its own movement in the dark at the place of creation, the calculation of exposure time and many other techniques .
Atb Art invites us to explore a unique artistic world, where light, dance and music merge to create extraordinary images that awaken emotions and imagination. His innovative approach to lightpainting distinguishes him as a creative and passionate artist.
