Visual Arts Artist
My studies have only increased my enthusiasm for the arts. I was trained at the Institut des Arts appliqués (Montréal) and have followed art courses at the École des beaux-arts, the Cégep Ahuntsic,
Concordia University, and the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts.

I am a former professor of industrial design and self-employed designer.
I have also been an artistic painter for over 25 years. I am fascinated by human anatomy and drawing, and I regularly attend live-model workshops.

My artistic practice flows out my passion for the shapes of the human body-its volumes, lines and angles, which I translate into portraits. I am also interested in certain types of landscapes that engage me. I like to spread colours and allow myself to be guided by them. I am particularly interested in creating depth within the painting. I want to make the work's two-dimensional frame disappear by creating a space betwenn the surface and the subject must come to life. It must excape the inertia of the image and become " a living source of emotion."
