Tullio Mesi was born on 11/14/1966 in Palermo, the city where he lives. His humanistic education has always influenced, from a young age, his interest in art and in particular in painting.
During a period of stay in Bologna (1997-2001), his "adventure" began pictorial, developing the technique of oil painting and mainly representing landscapes. The Impressionist movement, in particular Renoir, initially influenced his painting, above all for the poetic ability and chromatic liveliness typical of that movement. But subsequently also the contemporaries Mirò, Braque and Matisse, aroused great interest for the sense of colour, the expressive capacity and the surrealist drive and the American abstractionists for the symbolic strength, therefore a marked tendency towards experimentalism can be seen in the continuation of his activity pictorial. Some of these characteristics can be seen in some of his most recent works which represent a "visionary" and "dreamer" reality.
He has exhibited in several personal and collective exhibitions in: Palermo, Rome, Milan , Ferrara, Cava de Tirreni, Chicago (USA), Montreux (Switzerland). Other upcoming exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
His works are appreciated in Italy and abroad and are present in the international catalog of modern art MDS ed. n. 11 and 12 and 13, distributed in Europe and the USA and presented to the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian parliament.
