DANIELLE WARD EXHIBITION AT THE WEST END CENTRE
Elements of nature combined with the fantastical realm of imagination is the inspiration behind a stunning contemporary art exhibition by Farnham based artist Daniel Ward on display at Aldershot’s West End Centre from Sunday 14 January until Thursday 8 February.
The show comprises around 20 large modern paintings in acrylics, pastels and charcoal created by Danielle over the past year. Her passion for reading and the outdoors means Danielle is always full of ideas for her work.
“As a student in my native Holland, I always found myself drawing and painting and dreaming of one day becoming an artist” says Danielle, “When my Grandfather hand made a easel for me there was no going back!”
After leaving school, Danielle attended the “Grafische School “ in Amsterdam before working in advertising and then moving to Spain. The landscapes and warm sunny environment she experienced there had a profound effect on her art and many of her pictures convey the vivid colours of bright sunlight, whilst her charcoal depictions of wild animals are in more muted colours.
Although this is Danielle’s first solo show, her work has been displayed in many other exhibitions and on line galleries so numerous pieces of her art can now be seen in homes and offices around the world.
There is the opportunity to come and meet Danielle at the private view on Wednesday 17 January from 7pm to 9pm (admission free) and at other times the exhibition is open from Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm (at other times by prior request
