Born in Diest on 12/07/1939. Married to Philomena Truyts. training A3 metal-turner. Don Bosco Professional School. Metal-turner. A3 Career MBLE turner, Evere (1956-1958). Seaman to long circumnavigation (1960 - 1968); last function second machinist, 10 years at katoen Nation in Antwerp (1970 - 1980);
4 years of private painting lessons given by CONSTANT BERVOETS; 3 years drawing by post, 6 years of private lessons from the famous graphic artist ANDRE Colpin Brussels. Numerous personal exhibitions at home and abroad. Public presentations of artisanal printing (woodcuts, polychrome lyno's, waist douce).
Experimental work in the statecentre Frans Masereel at Kasterlee.
