Until 1992 he had a great activity in the area of advertising and graphic creation (design of logos and packaging) and in illustration where he has two dozen books already published.
Since then he has dedicated himself exclusively to painting and sculpture. It has been exhibiting since 1981.
In 1993, he was one of the founders of the Artitude Group, which was dissolved in 1996. He was part of the jury of the IX National Caricature Salon/VI Oeiras Humor Festival/95 and the 1st Damaia Contest Meeting with its Painters, this one together with Arthur Bual in 1995.
He was a member of the ANAP national association of plastic artists for six years.
In 1997, he co-founded Arcoartis, an association of plastic artists from Damaia, being its president.
It begins in 1996 and ends in 1999 the Sacred paintings in the church of Nª. Mrs. from Cabo de Linda-a-Velha, these being his greatest work and considered the largest set of Sacred Art in mural painting and in canvas and oil, of the 20th century in Portugal. They were inaugurated by Mr. Minister of Internal Administration Dr. Jorge Coelho, by Mr. President of the Municipality of Oeiras Dr. Isaltino Morais and Mr. D. Tomás Bispo Auxiliar de Lisboa, many other individuals were present.
Between 1999 and 2000 he executed the mural paintings in the church of S. Miguel in Queijas, also large-scale paintings, inaugurated by Mr. President of the Municipality of Oeiras Dr. Isaltino Morais.
The CP Sta station opens in 2000. Cruz / Damaia by Mr. 1st Minister António Guterres, where he created a 170 m long tile and iron mural.
Still in 2000, he executed another mural and sacred painting in the chapel of the Monastery, Carmelo de Nª. Mrs. Queen of the World in Faro.
In 2000, the association Paço de Artes and the newspaper A Voz de Paço de Arcos awarded him a tribute for the artistic activity developed in the municipality of Oeiras.
