Pavel Mylnikov is a contemporary Russian sculptor. When he creates his pieces, he often captivates the imagination of his audience. It is crucial for the artist to give the audience the opportunity to explore their inner artist by studying his own work and delving into their own sentiments and emotions, in addition to providing them with opportunities for aesthetics.
Bronze is one of his preferred materials. When dealing with this metal, the mix of opposing qualities - hardness and plasticity -allows for the experience of multiple separate stages, including modeling while the material is still soft, wax casting, and bronze casting. At each level, the sculpture undergoes a change in which a thinking or idea that was initially present in the piece is fixed.
Pavel Mylnikov was born in 1978, in Moscow, Russia, where he graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Lyceum named after V.I. Surikov and Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov. He is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. Mylnikov’s works are in private collections in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Copenhagen, Venice, Berlin, San Diego and New York.
