ACADEMIC TRAINING
He graduated in 1991 in Pedagogy in Biology and Sciences from the University of Arturo Prat in Iquique (Chile). His first contacts with artistic drawing and oil painting were carried out under the supervision of Alex Wittman and Alexiè Marinkovic. At the same time that he was beginning to learn about these new techniques, he quickly began to participate in various group and individual exhibitions in the cities of Iquique, Arica and Antofagasta (Chile). In 2000 he obtained the Universidad de Tarapacá prize at the First Regional Young Art Exhibition held in Arica (Chile) and in 2005 he was awarded the Postgraduate Scholarship from the Fundación Arte y Autores Contemporáneos, for which he traveled to Spain to join the Chinchón Academy as a scholarship artist.
