About the Gallery
The Museum of the Affections constitutes the artistic work of Gallo, being the largest Art Brut environment in all of Cuba. It is conformed by the Gallery and the Garden of the Affections. The Gallery is located throughout the interior of Gallo's apartment, while the garden occupies the entire exterior that borders the building where Gallo is located. The Museum is made up of works made by Gallo, reusing materials and objects that have been discarded by other people, being reinterpreted and revived by him. The Museum is located in building 11 C, apartment 1, in Micro X, Alamar, Havana del Este, Havana, Cuba. It is available to receive visits every day from 9 in the morning to 7 in the afternoon. Important: the Museum of the Affections is the house of Gallo. He lives in his work, literally.
Artistic line
Gallo is an exhibitor of Art Brut, also known as Outsider Art. He has no artistic training, his art is spontaneous, free, pure. Make various types of works from sculpture, installation, crafts, writing, painting, drawing. His art is very broad and with a very characteristic style where the reinterpretation and the reuse of discarded objects marks a starting point.
