Nina Boos, born in 1959 in Kamp-Lintfort in the Bas-Rhin region, was influenced from a young age by the artistic talent of her father, Hans Boos, a renowned caricaturist, nicknamed the "Wilhelm Busch of the Bas-Rhin". It was by observing her father that she began to draw her first comics in the 1960s. This early immersion in the world of art planted the first seeds of her future artistic career.

In 1974, Nina Boos undertook her first training as a window decorator, but her attraction to graphic design led her, in 1978, to also train as a graphic designer. For several years, she practiced as such, while exploring other art forms, including clay sculpture and puppet creation. Despite these various experiments, her connection with painting grew stronger over time.

Today, Nina Boos expresses herself mainly through acrylic on canvas and pastel on paper, mediums that have become her favorite tools. Her artistic style, impossible to simply categorize, is nourished by a spontaneous creative process. Her works are born without rigid planning, often inspired by small notes scattered around her workspace, capturing fragments of inspiration drawn from the comical and ordinary moments of everyday life.

Although her works may, at first glance, evoke the art of comics, they are in reality more complex creations, where the cartoon style is mixed with a subtle abstraction. Nina Boos draws inspiration from human relationships and ordinary situations to create humorous works, but anchored in recognizable forms of everyday life. What is most striking in her work is the audacity and liveliness of her colorful compositions. With meticulous precision in fine and delicate lines, her paintings require a long-term work, although this effort is not always immediately visible to the viewer.

Since 2006, Nina Boos has exhibited in various venues, with a first notable exhibition at Café Rosengarten in Oldenburg. The following year, she presented her works in Dangast, a famous artists' village and seaside resort. In 2008, her fame increased with a major exhibition at the "Tabula" gallery in Oldenburg. This same success attracted the attention of an Argentinian director, marking a new turning point in her artistic career.
