Родился в Ленинграде в 1957 году. В 1983 окончил графический факультет Института им.Репина (Академия Художеств) с золотым дипломом за цикл акварелей "Белые ночи". Член СХ России с 1991 года. Участник многих российских и международных выставок живописи, графики, акварели, книжной графики и экслибриса :
Среди них (работы напечатаны в каталогах):
"Экслибрис и каллиграфия" (Sint-Vicent. Belgia)
"Лес чудес" (Il Bosco Stregato) (Italy. 2002, 2004, 2006)
"Любовь и смерть" (Eros @ Thanatos) (Switzerland)
"Европейский город" (Opoca. Romania)
"Паролимпийские игры в Турине" (Torino. Italy)
"Гданьские львы" (Gdansk. Poland)
"Эротический экслибрис" (Havirov. Chech republic)
и многих других.
Экслибрисы печатались в сборниках "Экслибрис России".
Издано более 200 книг с иллюстрациями художника, среди которых романы А.Конан Дойля "Сэр Найджел. Белый отряд ", Р.Сабатини "Морской ястреб. Скарамуш", Ф.Купера, Майн-Рида и многих других.
По приглашению американской стороны в течение некоторого времени преподавал в Lord Fairfax State University (West Virginia) рисунок, живопись и каллиграфию.
В 1999 году международной фирмой KPMG издан арт-календарь на 2000-й год c работами художника.
Постоянный участник (более 5 лет) перманентной выставки живописи и акварели в Великобритании "Russian Collection"(были изданы открытки, каталоги и буклеты с репродукциями).
