• Patrice Brunet was born in 1963 in Normandy, France.
He discovered the joy of painting when he was given a
painting set on his eighth birthday. It was love at first
sight!
Patrice graduated from boarding school, in Normandy, in 1981.
Before joining the army, he worked as a guide on
a Seine riverboat. After his stint in the army, Patrice worked as an
antiques dealer. He traveled throughout Europe buying art and
antiques. During this time, he continued to paint with passion
and studied under Belgium artist Mean Florin.
In 1990, Patrice opened an antiques and art store at the Paris flea
market.
He opened an antiques and art gallery in Paris in 1995.
Patrice visited the United States on business for the first time in
1996.
In 1999, he moved to Pensacola, Florida working as an antiques and art
dealer.
He later moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 2003, continuing his work as
an antiques and art dealer.
Patrice became a full time artist in 2005, painting
and selling his original art. In 2007, Patrice became a listed artist.
After years in New York, he is back in the south, and he continues his dream of painting, selling original pieces
throughout the United States and Europe.
