Chantal, from a multicultural family, was born in 1963 in Switzerland. Bilingual in German and French, she lived in Switzerland, Germany, then in the south of France, where she has resided for around thirty years.
From the age of 15, Chantal joined a workshop, where she was trained in an environment where materials, colors and smells came to life. For 40 years, she devoted herself to the restoration of works of art in large workshops, museums and internationally renowned institutions, thus perfecting her dialogue with the work, day after day, in a hand-to-hand manner. with the material.
This technical and sensitive know-how guided her towards a purely instinctive personal creation. She expresses a burst of energy, bright colors and joy through works made on glass and PMMA, where collage and drawing mingle. These creations evoke chiaroscuro, like writing on parchment telling life stories.
