"Le 21 mars 1899, deux cent cinquante Ciotadens assistent à la première séance payante de cinéma à l’Eden. Au programme, dix-neuf films Lumière parmi lesquels Caravane aux Pyramides d’Egypte et Lancement de navire à La Ciotat. Toutes les salles de cette époque ayant été détruites ou transformées en commerces ou parkings, la séance du 21 mars 1899, dont l’affiche est précieusement conservée, fait de l’Eden la plus ancienne salle de cinéma au monde encore en activité".

Initially drawn to photo editing, Josiane discovered the heart of images and began to walk there to give them instant meaning.
