Self-taught painter who began to paint in adolescence.
His painting is characterized by a desire to break with the world of appearances and whose proposed works are an invitation to the imagination and come under the 'a rapprochement towards lyrical abstraction.
The successive layers of paint and other mediums reflect a search for interiority and a renunciation of the aesthetics of forms. The starting point of the works is characterized by this inner necessity as described by the painter Vassili Kandinsky. In order to establish a first link with the support, the composition begins in improvisation and chaos and reveals a first layer of irregular materials. It is only as the color overlaps, drying times, transformations, erasures, scrapings, underlinings that the work develops gradually until the search for the point of balance. which will determine the end of the work. In the end, the final work (the one we can see) may just be a misleading image...
