Claude Carvin:
Après des études artistiques aux Beaux Arts d’Aix en Provence, il exerce diverses professions pour gagner sa vie.
Installé en Ardèche en 1992, inspiré par les paysages , il commence à exposer dans la région.
Après avoir œuvré à l’huile, il découvre le pastel et l'acrylique.
Cette technique a changé sa manière de travailler, ce médium direct et intuitif lui offre plus de proximité avec son sujet, surtout lors de séances sur le motif.
Sa rencontre avec les Pastellistes de France lui ouvre les portes des salons internationaux et de la reconnaissance.
En parallèle, il travaille quotidiennement l'acrylique et ses œuvres figurent dans de nombreuses collections en Europe et dans le monde. Claude Carvin est artiste peintre professionnel depuis 2006.
Plusieurs articles lui sont consacrés dans des revues artistiques (Pratique des Arts,Artiste Magazine,Plaisir de Peindre, Dessin et Peinture,The Pastel Journal -usa)
Un dvd édité par Pratique des Arts lui est consacré.
