If the initial training Guy Le Coz followed from 57 to 61 at the Ecole Estienne in Paris as part of the Book of Trades and Graphic Arts has not been without scoring his artistic orientation, the artist had the chance to discover the watercolor at the age where it willingly replaces priorities imposed by those of the heart and passion.
The artist was captivated by this mode of expression based on the transparency of colors, shades and color vibrations returned by the white media, able to best preserve all the brightness of the subject.
His watercolors reveal quickly the reflection of his personality in a strong tone colors without altering its transparency, sensitivity to the harmony of tones and accuracy of the themes always present.
His adopted region, Provence is for him a source of inspiration through landscapes, portraits and costumes especially with Arlesiennes.
His travels, particularly in Morocco, Venice, India or into the country to secure the lead on paper landscapes and people characters so nteresting as unexpected.
Other watercolors in a larger format remember the direct link to the original graphic training in forms and compositions purely imaginary.
The glass that covers traditional watercolors in their presentation will be replaced by a non-yellowing satin finish, which while preserving the work gives it a more modern and natural.
His works were quickly noticed by many visitors to its painting exhibitions including regional press regularly reports.
