Anne Van der Haegen

Born in 1955 in Antwerp, I started painting in oil at the age of 16.< /p>

After 20 years of professional activity, I resumed painting with a small group of amateurs. In 2001, I perfected myself in drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mechelen (Belgium).

Arrived in Saint Raphaël in 2007, I place my characters and landscapes under the light of the South.

In 2009, at the Dramont, I learned the technique of trompe l'oeil and academic drawing with Alain Candela.

In Saint Raphaël with Palette 83, I take part in the oil-acrylic painting, pastel and live model workshops.

Learning to paint in oil with a knife with Régis Sibra, the painter of Provence for 4 years.

I exhibit several times a year with the Palette 83 studio in Saint Raphaël, artists from the Rock of Roquebrune/Argens, at the exhibitions of the Société des Beaux Arts de Maures Estérel, where I obtained a gold and a silver medal for my pastels.

My philosophy: observe, admire the nature around me, try to transpose the sensations, the light and the emotions that each landscape, portrait, situation can evoke in the depths of me; My technique is constantly evolving, over real or virtual encounters, I paint for my pleasure and (sometimes) for that of others.
