Nasce a Catania nel 1964 vive e lavora a Pompei e Castellammare di Stabia (Na). Di formazione autodidatta , dopo gli studi classici sviluppa un forte interesse per la pittura , in particolare quella a pastello . Studia ed approfondisce le conoscenze tecniche del Soft Pastel dai testi del l Prof. Michael Wright, scoprendo la potenzialità e la versatilità di questo mezzo pittorico che unisce l' immediatezza del tratto alla forza espressiva del colore. Principale artista di riferimento : Rosalba Carriera - pittrice veneziana del '700 - per l' eleganza , la levità e la ricchezza delle sfumature nei suoi ritratti. Realizza opere a tematica sociale dedicate all' infanzia e alla maternità nelle diverse culture. Predilige la ritrattistica ad ago, nota anche come agopittura espressione d' arte apprezzata fin dal secolo XVII. Il lavoro si compone di parti dipinte che integrano quelle ricamate.Partecipa a collettive e concorsi internazionali.
