A large original one off watercolour painting of a horseracing scene painted in a very loose way. I have tried to capture the speed of the horses and the jockeying for position. A large original one off watercolour painting of a horseracing scene painted in a very loose way. I have tried to capture the speed of the horses and the jockeying for position. This is a colour painting with the jockeys silks, and I love to paint these scenes as they are rather challenging as there is so much going on but at the same time I didn’t want to add much in the way of detail. I think this is my best one yet. It would make a lovely gift for anyone who loves their horseracing.

I sell my artwork globally and have received wonderful reviews from many satisfied customers, many of whom buy again. I also give 50% of my proceeds to charity, so by buying this painting you will also be giving to a good cause. I will sign the painting on the back and send it with a signed certificate of authenticity - to be signed for on delivery. Thanks for looking.

I am in my fifties and I live on the beautiful island of Jersey, Channel Islands. I studied art in my youth and have always been interested in art in it's varied forms. Unfortunately I had a life changing illness which has moved me in so many ways and have returned to my artwork with a new vigor. I find painting immensely fulfilling and soothing both physically and emotionally. Painting is a passion I love and is also extremely therapeutic.

I love to express my art in a variety of mediums but frequently use watercolors as mistakes are hard to hide and I love the way the colors flow into each other. I am continually developing my style to keep my work interesting and inspiring. My inspiration comes from a variety of sources, most notable natue. I love painting animals and seem to have a fascination for hares as I paint so many of them. Charity - I have decided to give 50% of everything I make from my art to charity, so that I am giving something back.
