Ann Vrielinck is a contemporary Belgian sculptor. Vrielinck’s artworks are snapshots of the human body in motion and of the communication and interaction between humans. The faces of her sculptures are barely defined, which enhances the universal character of the pieces and arouses a greater sense of identification in the viewer.
Ann Vrielinck was born in 1966, in Belgium. She studied Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges and later obtained an academic degree in Painting at the Sint-Lucas School of Arts in Ghent.
