She was born 1953 in Recife, Pernambuco, northeast of Brazil; she passed the course of architecture at the Federal University of Pernambuco e a course “History of Arts” in the City of Literature Institute in London.[...]
She was born 1953 in Recife, Pernambuco, northeast of Brazil; she passed the course of architecture at the Federal University of Pernambuco e a course “History of Arts” in the City of Literature Institute in London. She started with ceramic in 1983; in the beginning she oriented herself to the artist Anneliese Poluzzi, her mother, later with the Argentinean masters Leo Tavella and Wilma Villaverde. Basically she sees herself as autodidact, assimilating with experiments of the whole range of all possibilities of ceramic, as the union of clay, the earth and the miners, like fire and smoke. She developed into an own technique style of ceramic, focused at an expression of an art, creation of sculptures. Nascida em 1953, em Recife, Pernambuco, nordeste do Brasil, passou pelo curso de arquitetura, na Universidade Federal de Pernambuco e cursou Historia da Arte no City Literary Institute, em Londres. Iniciou-se na cerâmica em 1983, a principio tendo como orientadora a artista Anneliese Poluzzi, sua mãe, já inserida neste meio artístico e posteriormente com os mestres argentinos Leo Tavella e Wilma Villaverde.Basicamente se considera autodidata, assimilando através de experimentos toda a vasta possibilidade da cerâmica, uma vez que, 'e a união da argila, a terra, e seus minérios, com o fogo, a queima. Desenvolvendo assim uma técnica e estilo apropriado à cerâmica focando uma expressão de arte que envolve a criação de objetos escultoricos
