These few houses in the foreground never cease to inspire me with their picturesque construction.
I have already written several works with them both in the previous summer plein air and this autumn one.
But when I climbed a little higher up the mountain, I saw them in a different angle from a greater height, and they again asked me for canvas.
I wrote this look by adding my own imagination, and also left room for the imagination of the audience.

Andrii Kovalyk, a Ukrainian traveling artist, was born in 1986 in the city of Chernivtsi, Ukraine. He received a professional icon painting education, during his studies he copied ancient icons in some of the largest museums. During his studies and several years later, he painted churches and painted icons. But in 2018, he decided to fulfill his old dream of a round-the-world trip. Since then, he has been traveling almost non-stop on a bicycle in different countries all the world and painting from nature.
Through travels, he gets to know himself and the world around him, and with the help of painting he tries to convey the whole range of emotions and impressions from the stories that happen enough during his travels.
Participant and prize winner of international exhibitions and competitions.
Paintings and icons are kept in private collections in the USA, United Kingdom, other countries of Europe and the world.
Now lives and travels in Spain.
