While living in Verkhovyna it is very interesting to explore the nearby hills. One fine day I climbed the Magurka hill (1400 meters above sea level) and I saw such an amazing landscape.

I started to paint, an aggressive local bull came up to me and growled, even two. They tested the artist for endurance, he passed the exam and continued to paint.

Then, towards the end of the work, a pretty horse passed by. She stopped next to me, started looking at my work, what do you say? A true connoisseur of beauty :) We made a joint selfie, after which this cute horse literally licked this work out of great love for art, apparently she liked the good taste of Italian MAIMERI BLU paints, with that we said goodbye to her until we meet again.
Another job with a small but funny story.
The painting was working by professional Italian Maimeri Blu watercolors on 100% cotton paper with a density of 300 grams, which will give the picture durability.

Andrii Kovalyk, a Ukrainian traveling artist, was born in 1986 in the city of Chernivtsi, Ukraine. He received a professional icon painting education, during his studies he copied ancient icons in some of the largest museums. During his studies and several years later, he painted churches and painted icons. But in 2018, he decided to fulfill his old dream of a round-the-world trip. Since then, he has been traveling almost non-stop on a bicycle in different countries all the world and painting from nature.
Through travels, he gets to know himself and the world around him, and with the help of painting he tries to convey the whole range of emotions and impressions from the stories that happen enough during his travels.
Participant and prize winner of international exhibitions and competitions.
Paintings and icons are kept in private collections in the USA, United Kingdom, other countries of Europe and the world.
Now lives and travels in Spain.
