Gouache on canvas. Painted in my studio in southern China. Depicts the art of creation and the joy of painting. A personal favorite. I can watch it for hours. I sometimes think it moves on its own, in a good way.

Abstract acrylics painter, coffee drinker, writer, teacher, weightlifter, world traveler.
I've lived, painted, drawn, stubbed my toes, and eaten sushi in many places, mostly Asia.
I don't often use models. I prefer to use the pictures in my head.
Currently eating spicy food and scraping the paint off my desk in Sichuan. Not too bad for a kid who spent her formative years traveling the US in the back of a van, homeless, or calling the cops on her mom's drunken boyfriends.
