Nach seinem Marketing-Studium, absolvierte Adriano Cuencas mehrere Ausbildungen im Bereich Webentwicklung und graphische Gestaltung. Digitale Kunst und Internet-Projekte waren schon immer seine Leidenschaft. Als er eine Website für einen brasilianischen Künstler entwickelte, entdeckte er die wunderschöne Welt der Kunst für sich. Seit Jahren vertritt er in Europa und in Brasilien internationale Künstler. Er verbringt auch viel Zeit in seinem eigenen Atelier, wo er faszinierende Collagen kreiert. Er führt zudem eine Online-Kunstgalerie.

Street Art, Pop Art und viel Kreativität, Adriano Cuencas lässt sich nicht gern auf einen Stil festlegen. Der gebürtige Brasilianer liebt bunte Kreationen. "Farbige Bilder bringen Leben in den Alltag". Damit passen sich seine ungewöhnlichen Collage-Kunstwerke aus Plakaten, Poster, Acrylfarben und Kunstharz sehr gut in die moderne Kunst ein.

Die Collagen von Cuencas, geboren 1970, wohnhaft im Kanton Zürich, verbinden Schichten aus alten Strassenplakaten und Poster mit Acryl-Malerei, Spray, Glitter und anderen Materialen. Das Finish ist immer aus Epoxyd-Kunstharz. Dabei geben die unregelmässigen Formen interessante Umrisslinien vor, die seine Kunstwerke zu spannenden Wanddekorationen machen. Cuencas experimentiert mit verschiedenen Stilen und Techniken.

Er nimmt auch gerne Aufträge für spezielle Anlässe wie Geburtstage, Hochzeiten oder Neueröffnungen entgegen. Der Kunde liefert die Fotos, Cuencas entwickelt ein Collage-Unikat davon.

Die Mixed-Media-Kompositionen von Cuencas können in Rikon 8486 nach Vereinbarung besichtigt werden.

Adriano Cuencas lebt seit 1998 in der Schweiz, ist verheiratet und hat drei Kinder.
