« L'âme est une fleur délicate exposée au vent de la destinée. Les brises du matin la secouent et les gouttes de rosée lui ploie le cou. Comme la fleur prend de la terre son parfum et sa vie, l'âme tire de la matière et de ses torts une force et une sagesse. » Khalil Gibran , Le sable et l’écume [1926] Qualité[...]

Watercolor allows me to express the luminosity, the intensity of the colors of nature. It is a medium that allows for great diversity both in terms of the choice of subjects and the techniques used. It allows for painting with transparency and subtlety.
My main source of inspiration is nature, landscapes, and the mountains. All the beautiful places I encounter can combine in my mind and a new landscape is born made up of all the different images I have in mind.

Sometimes my watercolors mix with my photographs, a new universe appears, tinged with realism and imagination.

Another technique that particularly interests me, 'Cyanotype'. This is an old process of photographic reproduction by exposure.

The Cyanotype is an old monochrome negative photographic process, by means of which a Prussian blue photographic print, blue cyan. This technique was developed in 1842 by the English scientist and astronomer John Frederick William Herschel. (Source: Wikipedia)

When the sun is at its peak, I sometimes leave my brushes aside to create compositions using this magical, unpredictable technique that invites daydreaming . I use cyanotype sometimes alone or sometimes mixed with watercolor or gouache.
