#2nyss, an enigmatic pseudonym which perfectly suits this singular visual artist who escapes any attempt at classification. In turn painter, designer, sculptor, the artist claims a freedom of expression which cannot make us forget the depth of the subject. The real world of this abundant artist is above all that of symbolism. His perception of a fragmented world reveals to us the inner conflicts of Man in the face of the great questions raised by life and death, good, evil, the anxiety of a future in a world over which he has no control, the more often, not even the surface of things. Painter of the soul and of a society in decay or perpetual change, he draws his sources as much from ancient mythology and from a perfectly assumed Catalan culture, as from the current events of our consumerist society of which he highlights all the 'absurdity. Everything is linked in this work where the demand for detail, the rigor of the drawing and the composition serve to question the form and content of this artist who seems to think above all in volume. Whether it is a question of hijacking famous paintings through the play of a falsely naive, tangy and shadowless iconography, a fiction of very real news, or of fantastical characters torn apart by conflicts or stories, intimate and universal, figures monumental expressionists exploded into a mosaic made abstract by the play of setting and colored areas, his work is always located on the edge of flatness and volume. C'est un nouveau lieu à Céret, mêlant vins & arts... L'initiateur du projet est l'artiste Catalan DOD (Paul Daudies), les deux vignerons du clos d'Elpis ( jean François DAUDIES & Benjamin ROIG) artisans producteur de vins haut de gamme (vinification en amphores au vignoble ) et moi même #2nyss . Le Clos d' Elpis est un domaine viticole en conversion Bio situé en Roussillon, mettant en avant une méthode ancestrale et antique: une vinification en jarre de terre cuite, cueille à la main sur de veilles parcelles centenaires de grenache, pour la plupart des cuvées de prestiges afin d'élaborer des vins élégants ... Sur les murs une exposition permanente des œuvres de Dod & 2nyss, ouvert pendant ces fêtes du jeudi au samedi et suivant l'agendas des festivités de Céret Nous sommes très bien placé ( à moins de 100 mètres du musée d'art moderne) et espérons pérennisé cet espace haut en couleurs locales de dégustations et d'expositions " Wines & Arts" Céret
