About Elinor Walter

Elinor Walter / Nora Nagy / was born in 1970 in Hungary. She was learning art in the primary and grammar school. The modern art had made a big effect on Her artistic view point when she realized the difference between classical art and modern american school projects and also european modern art painters works. She made study on the XX. century best modern impressionist`s works like Wassily Kandinsky,Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko ,Jackson Pollock / She was 30 in Toronto, Canada when She started to concentrate to develop Her own art style in abstract impressionism. The artworks by Elinor Walter do show strong abstract elements with straight line object compositions, accurate abstract features with balance in geometrical concept and colour use. By the viewer point of view easy to recognise the unplanned order in the geometrical "chaos." The mixed colors used by artistic balance show the great positive viewpoints by the artist. Beside abstractions she is also working on oil patchworks with bigger canvases with agressive paint material usage. Her art is definetely pointing out some great balanced message by the shape and colour combinations by a clear simple artistic technical way.
