Izložba “Vrtlog” Elene Baglai Nikolić
Izložba slika akademske slikarke Elene Baglai Nikolić pod nazivom „Vrtlog“ biće otvorena u Muzeju i galeriji Tivat u petak, 3. decembra u 19 sati.
Vagapova. Usavršavala se kod profesora Nafikova R.I. Godine 2014. priredila je samostalnu izložbu u galeriji Queen of Montenegro u Bečićima. Učesnica je nekoliko kolektivnih internacionalnih izložbi i likovnih kolonija. Njeni radovi se nalaze u mnogim privatnim kolekcijama u zemlji i inostranstvu. Bavi se slikarstvom, pedagoškim radom i dizajnom enterijera. Živi i stvara u Budvi.

The exhibition "Whirlpool" by academic painter Elena Baglai Nikolic will open at the Tivat Museum and Gallery on Friday, December 3, at 7 PM.
"I have a secret romance with printed materials and grattage techniques. With one-day ads, betting tables, women’s magazines (which I don’t read but have such beautiful pages), and election leaflets! The print is luxurious, and the paper is high-quality. Tea bag boxes, women’s tights packaging, excursion flyers, and supermarket leaflets.
All these magical patterns, colored fonts of different sizes, random words, and photos, make me want to cut everything with scissors, mix and use them as material for a painting. What should end up in the trash, condemned to a short life, transforms and is reborn with new quality, circulating again in the urban whirlwind. Words become part of the picture, like decorations, patterns turn into brushstrokes. This is magic, wrapped in a puzzle for the viewer to solve. I create a message for the future, erase the unnecessary, and fill it with meaning," the artist wrote about her work.
Elena Baglai Nikolic was born in 1973 in Kazan, Russia. She graduated from the Feshin Fine Arts School in Kazan, majoring in painting under Professor M.A. Vagapov. The exhibition in the gallery's ground floor will be officially opened by the director, Jelena Bošković, in front of the gallery.
