The Unicorns, for example, are gone before they are even seen.
In the corner of an eye and with a wink, what was that and they are already gone.
Incomprehensible and intangible, it is as if they are sooner there than the time that has yet to come.

Ed Schaap is a contemporary award-winning Dutch painter. He has been captivated by H.R. Giger's work, but as time has passed, he has developed his own distinct style, which can only be described as peculiar and unsettling.
