Biography
Michael Edelstein is a 26 year old medical doctor with a passion for medicine, photography and travelling. By age four he was already exploring the corners of the earth, and he has never lost the taste for exploration. Thanks to his involvement in international health, as well during his free time, his camera has seen over thirty countries on all continents. He focuses on social, natural and urban scenes that surround him. When asked about what he tries to convey through the images, he replies: “I do not have a message, there is no hidden meaning. I see photography as the extension of the eye, and I show the world as I see it.”
Self taught, he has started photography in 2005, and since then has exhibited several times in London, Paris, as well as San Diego where he recently received a special mention at the Art of photography show 2008.

About me
Michael Edelstein is a 26 year old medical doctor with a passion for medicine, photography and travelling. By age four he was already exploring the corners of the earth, and he has never lost the taste for exploration. Thanks to his involvement in international health, as well during his free time, his camera has seen over thirty countries on all continents. I was awarded a special mention at the art of photography show 2008, San Diego, CA. My photo "The Jute workers" was one of 15 photos selected out of 12 000!

May 14th- May 26th 2008: Eight photos exhibited as part of the “Art in Mind” exhibition, at the Brick lane gallery, London, UK
April 25th- May 23rd 2008: The photos “The Jute workers” is awarded an honorable mention at the Art of Photography show 2008, in San Diego, USA, and is one of 16 selected pictures amongst 12000 entries. The picture is on display at the Lyceum theatre, San Diego, until may 23rd 2008
4th February 2008- March 2nd: exhibition at the Phoenix cinema (the oldest cinema in the UK), 52 High Road, East Finchley, London, UK
